Recent studies undertaken have proven that some traditional paving methods and materials are causing environmental issues by forcing good water to join the sewerage system, rather than being absorbed as is natural, into the earth. The earth is made up of many componants and together they become a filter for the rain that passes through. This then finds its way into the rivers and streams where it should be - not down an impenetrable driveway or pavement to the drain.
